Family-Friendly City Located on the Bay
Foster City’s crown jewel is its lagoon. The lagoon meanders five miles throughout the City’s neighborhoods. Located on the San Francisco Bay, Foster City Marina is a planned facility for waterfront land use and boat berthing. Foster City hosts world-class windsurfing and kite-surfing spots within the city limits.
Additionally, the City’s 24 parks occupy more than 200 acres. The parks include many public tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, basketball courts, and rollerblading/biking trails along the San Francisco Bay. It’s a great place to rollerblade, walk and people watch!
