Urban Suburban Mix and Feel with Historic Downtown Buildings

Earlier this year, San Mateo was named the No. 3 city in the Bay Area in terms of Quality of Life by the San Francisco Chronicle.

San Mateo has one of the larger, better-developed suburban downtowns in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will enjoy the urban suburban feel San Mateo provides its residents. Many shops and restaurants are located in historic buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The historic buildings help give the community a unique feel.

Uniquely situated downtown, the San Mateo Caltrain station connects you to a number of cities throughout the Peninsula.
